We’re All About Cabinets!

Custom Built to Your Hearts Desire

At Florkowskys', we're all about cabinets! We use cutting-edge technology to create high quality, custom cabinets built to last. Our European style cabinetry is made with computer numerical control (CNC) operations using 5/8" materials to create a blind dado setup. This ensures high quality pieces each time.

CNC automates the movements of all our woodworking tools. This results in precise movements and excellent cabinetry design and function. Thanks to this tool, we can build blind dado cabinet boxes. Not only does blind dado construction style mean cabinets that are amongst the strongest on the market, they are also easy to install. Meaning your home won’t turn into a construction site.

We also use computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided  manufacturing (CAM). This allows us to incorporate tools, like drills and saws, into a single 'cell'. This ensures consistent cabinetry that easily fits into your home and stays functional.

By using Solid Ultimate, a top-of-the-line software solution for design and CAD capability we can create complex pieces. This software is perfect for both high-end residential cabinetry and commercial manufacturing. At Florkowskys' automated and integrated design is used throughout production. No matter the project, we manufacture everything with the highest level of care.

With our 3D custom rendering and detailed plans, you can rest assured that the final product will come out right each time. We do this to save time and eliminate the possibility of costly mistakes.

Florkowskys' skilled team is ready to go to work on your next custom cabinet project and build the wood pieces you've always wanted.

Cabinet Styles 101

Frameless (Finished Ends)

Frameless (Finished Ends)

This cabinet construction is a staple for a reason. The door and drawer fronts overlap the cabinet box. The cabinets finished sides are flat to match the exterior colour. With this style, there are endless options for interior drawer customization.

Flush Inset Face Frame (Bead)

Additional design elements help this cabinet to stand out, and gives it a sophisticated look. There will be internal storage hardware restrictions due to the cabinet's height.

Frameless (Plant on ends)

Frameless (Plant on ends)

This is the ideal style for walls that are not plumb. The front of the doors and drawers overlap the cabinet box. The finished sides of the cabinet are flat or have a door matching the exterior colour. These parts are attached to the outside of the cabinet box, creating a well structured cabinet.

Face Frame With a Half Overlay

Face Frame With a Half Overlay

This is a traditional style of cabinet construction that results in classic, timeless pieces. The door overlaps the frame by 5/8" and sits in front of the frame. This style's door and drawer fronts are smaller than a frameless cabinet. Like with Flush Inset Face Frame cabinets, this style will have height restrictions, limiting internal storage hardware.

Flush Inset Face Frame (Square)

These cabinets closely resemble furniture, which gives them a high end look. A solid wood face frame is constructed, which is then attached to the front of the cabinet. The cabinet box edges are completely covered by the face frame. This style of construction makes the door and drawer fronts smaller in comparison to a frameless cabinet.

Handle-Less (Channel or Integrated)

Handle-Less (Channel or Integrated)

Don't have space for, or don't want knobs and handles on your cabinet? This is the style for you. The door and drawer fronts overlap the cabinet box with a gap in front that has space for fingers. The cabinets' finished sides match the exterior colour, and attach outside the cabinet box. This construction style makes the door and drawer fronts smaller than a frameless cabinet.
